Playball is delighted to announce Alejandro Canizares as our newest signing. Alejandro has been highlighted as one of the best if the new crop of European Tour stars. Alejandro announced his arrival in 2006 by becoming the fastest ever winner on the European Tour in just his third event as a pro, the 2006 Le Meridien Russian Open, usurping the previous records set by Sergio Garcia and Graeme McDowell. Alejandro's outstanding amateur record includes being named a four time All American during his college career as an Arizona State University Sun-Devil, winning the NCAA Championship in 2003. Alejandro also holds the record for the highest ever number of points scored in the Palmer Cup having represented Europe four times between 2003 and 2006.
